Keeping Heat in With New Windows and Doors

As winter sets in and the weather gets colder new windows and doors are an easy way to make sure you're keeping that expensive heat inside your home where it belongs!

Having a house full of drafty windows and doors can be the equivalent of leaving one window wide open all the time!

As well as having new smoothly functioning replacement windows, part of the project is also insulating the gaps around the windows to ensure none of that cold air makes it through around the jambs.

Replacement windows and doors are a relatively easy renovation to do without enduring major construction on your home. In most cases a few doors or a house full of replacement windows is a project that can be completed in a day or two.

Although the cost varies, window and door replacements can be an expensive project. The majority of the cost is in the actual windows and doors themselves. Given the energy savings though, most people fid that this type of renovation saves enough energy cost over time to cover the expense of the project!
